Britt is the Program Success Manager at Austin Angels, where she brings more than a decade of experience in social work and child welfare. Her passion for this mission was born at home. Her family became a licensed foster home during her middle school years, leading to the adoption of her younger sister. That personal experience shaped Britt’s deep belief in the power of supportive relationships.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Texas A&M, a Master’s in Family and Child Studies from Texas State, and a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin. She is a Licensed Master of Social Work and a certified TBRI Practitioner, with a career spanning psychiatric hospitals, residential treatment centers, and child placing agencies. Britt lives in the Austin area with her husband Blake and their two children, Kira and Micah. She spends her free time painting, singing, and exploring the outdoors. She is a calm, grounded presence who believes every child deserves the safety and space to dream and that it's our job to build the systems to make that possible. |
