SARA HALE
Sara moseyed down to Texas from Spokane, WA to join the Austin Angels team in 2021, serving as Executive Director for four years before transitioning to the board. With a degree in Communications from the University of Washington, her career has been broad and varied, but always with a focus on leadership, growth and coordinating many ideas into strategic focus. Currently, she is a Director of Communications in the CPG industry at Bitchin' Sauce. Married to Sam, who is an athletic and hands-on daddy, the two share four sons - Tucker (13), Max (10), Grady (8) and Wilder (5). As one could expect, the Hale household is full of activity! Weekends are spent on the ball field (baseball and football mostly!), having a catch or catching a fish, exploring the Texas Hill Country, or cooking a feast together. The Hale family has definitely found their home in Texas. Sara has many hobbies, including weight lifting and regular walk-n-talks to stay in touch with friends near and far. She loves creating in the kitchen and is trying her hand at embroidery and golf this year. She is a part of a ladies bowling league Monday nights in South Austin, and steadily reads 4-8 books a month! Sara's faith has always been a solid driver in her life, which ultimately led her to the National Angels organization. With a passion for serving kids and families, she served on the board of Spokane Angels from 2018-2020 before joining the team at Austin Angels. |
