Amanda is a Case Manager at Austin Angels and a proud native Austinite. She recently earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Kansas and brings both professional training and heartfelt conviction to her role. Foster care became deeply personal to her after becoming a parent herself, and what began as a tug on her heart grew into years of meaningful involvement.
Amanda first connected with Austin Angels as a Love Box volunteer in 2016 and quickly fell in love with the mission and heart of the organization. Since then, she has served in multiple foster care settings, experiences that ultimately led her to pursue her Master of Social Work and later return to Austin Angels as an intern. She is passionate about walking alongside families with consistency, compassion, and practical support.
Outside of work, Amanda is married to her best friend and biggest supporter, Brandon, and together they are raising four incredible kids. As a family, they love traveling, watching The Office, making memories, and cheering on their favorite sports teams.
