Chip is an investor, philanthropist, and Senior Business Advisor to Fallen Oak Mycology, bringing 20 years of experience in operations, financial strategy, and business development. Prior to Fallen Oak Mycology, he served as a senior loan officer at SWBC Mortgage and co-owned Roll On Sushi Diner, an Austin-inspired local sushi restaurant he created from the ground up with his brother, Chad.

Chip earned a degree in Family Financial Planning from Texas Tech University, which launched his early career as a financial advisor with Wells Fargo and Citicorp Investment Services. Through these experiences, he discovered his passion for problem-solving, exceptional customer service, and leading teams toward shared goals and purpose.

Chip and his wife, Sara, are proud parents of two children and three fur babies. They divide their time between Texas and Utah, balancing their love of the mountains with their heart for Texas. As Treasurer, Chip brings thoughtful guidance and strategic insight to Austin Angels.
