Connor Copeland

Likes: Exercising, being outside, old cameras, genuine people.
Dislikes: Cold weather, the sun setting at 5:30, Austin traffic.

Connor was born right down the road from Austin in New Braunfels, TX, and has lived in the Texas hill country his whole life. A lifelong swimmer, Connor swam competitively through his childhood and high school years and later played water polo in college. Connor loves traveling, hiking, camping, his friends and family, and all things food. The summer after he graduated high school, Connor picked up a camera for the first time and never looked back. With the help of hours and hours of YouTube tutorials, Connor taught himself how to use a camera, and in December 2020 he graduated from the University of Texas with a Bachelor of Journalism degree with a focus on Photo and Video Journalism. In 2018, Connor began creating videos for Austin Angels as a freelancer and he is extremely excited to take a position on staff to help share the work we are doing with the world!
