ABOUT THE WAITLIST

We serve the greater Austin area, from San Marcos all the way to Waco! The youth on this list are all located outside of metropolitan Austin, and we desperately need mentors in these areas. Youth in outer counties typically end up waiting for a mentor much longer than youth in Austin. If you are located in Austin but are interested in serving one of these incredible youth, please reach out about hybrid mentorship opportunities.

​We currently have over 20 amazing youth waiting to be matched in our Dare to Dream mentorship program. Our heart at Austin Angels is to connect every youth in foster care with a committed, consistent and caring mentor. Below are just a few of these youth.
