Our Entrepreneur Workshop is a semester-long course focused on equipping and empowering youth in foster care (ages 13-22) with business knowledge, entrepreneurial skills, and financial literacy––real life knowledge, skills, and experience they need to reach their fullest potential. We do all of this in a safe environment with peers from similar backgrounds, to help foster community and hope. Our dream is to empower our youth to be in charge of their own futures. This workshop concludes with a business idea pitch in front of peers and community members.
We know that youth in foster care need a hand up, not a hand out, and that is what makes our program different.
