Hannah Thomas
Sociology enthusiast, dog mom, plant whisperer, true crime fan, voracious reader, lover of nature.
Likes: Roller skating, hiking, Lady Grey tea, naps on Sunday afternoons, wind chimes, cats in windows, blue skies. Dislikes: Traffic, getting my picture taken, feeling chilly, gray skies. Hannah first came to the Austin area in 2015 as an undergraduate student at Texas State University. She obtained her degree in Applied Sociology and was introduced to Austin Angels during her last semester as a case management intern. She briefly moved to Florida, and quickly realized that there truly is no place like Texas. She moved back less than a year later and began working as a youth care worker for a local children’s shelter. Her time as a youth care worker was challenging and rewarding, and reignited her passion for working with kids experiencing foster care. She knew she wanted to do more and that led her back to Austin Angels, where she is now a full-time case manager. In her free time, she loves reading, embroidering, hiking, paddle-boarding, roller skating with her dogs, and rewatching the same three shows. |
