Likes: Creative writing/Creativity in general, Movies (especially going to them), Sports (Ravens, Orioles Woooo!) Exploring Breweries, restaurants, and coffee shops, all sorts of live music, and dogs. Dislikes: Writer’s Block, Traffic, procrastination (even though I’m guilty of it), how expensive the world has gotten, the realization the weekend is over, standardized testing, a warm soda. Juan was raised in over five different countries and takes pride in being a culturally, and generally, open-minded person as a result. Upon graduating from the University of Utah in 2018, Juan knew he wanted to find a way into the marketing world. He spent years working with different companies and clients, such as Google, Kinetic, and Global Upside. In 2022, he knew he wanted to go on an adventure and decided to move to Austin, TX. He got a job doing PR for Austin Pets Alive! meeting many furry friends along the way. The opportunity arose for him to get back to the social media/marketing world of it all with Austin Angels, and he couldn’t resist! Juan loves meeting new people and exploring the city. He loves watching his two favorite teams, the Ravens and Orioles and loves Chipotle more than your average person. He made it a mission to go to as many concerts as possible once he moved to Austin. So far, he’s been to 15! When he’s not out and about, he likes working on creative writing projects, and other fun stuff on Canva. He’ll be listening to music and playing a sports video game to unwind. If Juan is at a place or event with a dog, you bet you can find him next to them! |
