Trey grew up here in Austin, as did her husband of 15 years, Mike. Together they have five children. In 2015 their lives changed forever when they took in their two nieces and nephew and became kinship foster parents. It has been quite the roller coaster ride for them since then, but they have learned so much.
Trey's family was referred to Austin Angels about a year ago because of the emotional, physical, and financial toll that going from a family of seven to ten placed on them. From the physical Love Box with items for their whole family, to the one-on-one mentorship for kids, the family feels Austin Angels’ programs have been a blessing. Trey hopes to bring her knowledge to this council, as well as learn new information for the future, and is honored and grateful to be a part of it.
