Give Back With Our Give-A-Thon!

It’s no secret––2020 has not been what any of us expected! In light of this, we have pivoted in many ways, and are continuing to brainstorm new ways to accomplish our mission in the new world we are living in. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we quickly pivoted to virtual and socially distanced volunteering / mentoring and have been overjoyed to see our volunteers show up in new, safe, and creative ways for the youth and families we serve. In fact, today we are serving more children and families than ever, and have over 500 children and youth waiting to be matched in our programs.

Each year we host an annual gala. For obvious reasons this can no longer take place – so we decided to get creative and host our first-ever Angel Give-A-Thon, which we are kicking off on December 1st, Giving Tuesday! We invite you to make a donation December 1-3 and help make an impact in the lives of children, youth, and families experiencing foster care.

Our goal for this Give-A-Thon is to not only make up the funds lost from not having our annual gala this year, but supersede it, so that we can:

• Continue to serve children and families by meeting practical needs and fulfilling emergent requests.
• Reach more children than ever with opportunities for health, healing, normalcy, stability, relationships, mentorship, and extracurricular activities–so that they feel supported and empowered to reach their fullest potential.
• Serve more families than ever with community, financial and emotional support, and resources, so they feel encouraged and equipped to continue fostering.
